SANDY CANALE grew up in small-town Milan, IL, across the Mississippi from Davenport, IA. College studies took her to Des Moines, IA where she graduated from Drake University with a Bachelor of Music in Piano Pedagogy and a minor in Voice. From there, she took at job teaching piano full time at The Dallas School of Music, in Dallas, TX. She began studies at Southern Methodist University where she earned a Master of Music in Music Education. During that time, she also met a Bronx-born, piano-loving attorney who swept her off her feet and convinced her to eventually move to New York. Throughout all of these adventures, she was continually involved in various aspects of liturgical music - as a pianist, cantor, and choir director. Ever since moving to New York and having children, she hasn't been sure where her music education and experience fits into her life. Now, through Colm Cille Club, she has found a welcome outlet!

MICAELA SWIFT

Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina and raised in Stamford, CT, Micaela developed a love of the arts at an early age. 

Her passion led her to NYC  where she chose to focus on Interior Design. After spending 5 years immersed in all areas of interior design (architecture, textiles, furniture), Micaela received a BA in Fine Arts from the Fashion Institute of Technology, New York City.  

Micaela and her husband live in Danbury, CT with their 5 children and have embraced the joy of home educating since the beginning.
